Long Term Development Organizations in Haiti

Food for the Hungry

Christian organization that partners with 150 churches in Haiti. While they do have an emergency response unit, their ultimate focus is more long term.

Hosean International Ministries

Organization led by Pastor Caleb Lucien. Although HIM assists in disasters, their long term focus is transformational development, which they accomplish through education, a children’s home and community projects. Their U.S. base is here in Little Rock!

Lambi Fund of Haiti

Oxfam

In Haiti since 1978. Works with 10,000 peasant families in Haiti to develop sustainable livelihoods.

Partners in Health

Dr. Paul Farmer's organization that is based in Cange but has expanded throughout much of the mainland. They work in cooperation with the Haitian government and are well-connected and organized.

World Vision International
